Remembering Huddleson's service in war, town
Few in New Canaan may know that buried in the cemetery of the town of Lakeview with staff from other services is Mary Pascoe Huddleson.
Mary Huddleson was a dietician in New Canaan from 1927 to 1946, edited the "Journal of the American Dietetic Association." In 1923 and 1928, Macmillan published his "Food for the diabetic to eat and how to calculate with common household measures. "The preface was by Dr Foster Nellis Barnes, assistant professor of medicine at Cornell University Medical School and associate physician at New York Hospital.
She was the wife of a psychiatrist James H.Huddleson and mother of Ellen Huddleson (de la Torre).
